Project Overview

The project demonstrates how a typical 1970s villa can be transformed into a contemporary space for a modern family. The intervention completely redesigned the residential floor to create a more functional environment suitable for a couple with two teenage sons, optimizing every available square meter.

Bathroom and Service Areas:

  • Complete modernization of main bathroom with walk-in shower
  • Conversion of service bathroom into laundry/storage room
  • Use of Lasa marble-effect porcelain stoneware slabs

Night Zone:

  • Two personalized rooms for the teenagers
  • Master bedroom with custom wardrobe and built-in TV
  • Two completely renovated bathrooms
  • Optimized corridor with custom wardrobes and storage niches

Layout Redesign:

  • Relocation of entrance door
  • Corridor optimization on the left side
  • Creation of an open-space living area
  • Clear separation between day and night zones with sliding door

Space Optimization:

  • Open-space with direct entrance
  • Decorative niches created between corridor wall and load-bearing columns
  • Bar-style peninsula kitchen overlooking the living area
